If your business involves the following situations, you may need to apply for specific licence(s). Please put a √ in the appropriate box(es) for further information:
You will construct or operate a designated project listed in Part I of Schedule 2 or to decommission a designated project listed in Part II of Schedule 2 of Environmental Impact Assessment Ordinance (Cap. 499).
You will use powered mechanical equipment (other than percussive piling) for construction between 7pm and 7am, or anytime on a holiday.
You will use any percussive breaker with mass of above 10kg.
You will use air compressor capable of supplying compressed air at 500kPa pressure or above in construction work.

You will establish, operate private portable transceivers.
Your business entity will operate as a company with limited liability in Hong Kong.
Your company is incorporated outside Hong Kong and planning to establish a place of business in Hong Kong.
You will carry out any underground works.
You will deliver public fill to public fill reception facilities for dumping.
You will carry out any notifiable work stipulated in APCO(CD)R.
You will require to make notification under Section 17 for Part A Chemical Wastes.
You need to make or maintain excavation on streets maintained by Highways Department.
You need to carry out expressway works as defined under Section 122 of Cap 374 Road Traffic Ordinance.
You need to carry out works within the Tsing Ma Control Area.
You need to carry out works within the Tsing Sha Control Area.
You will sell or lease a Non-road Mobile Machinery (NRMM), including regulated machines and non-road vehicles, for use in Hong Kong. / You will use or cause to be used a NRMM in a specified activity/location (including airport's restricted area, port facilities, construction sites and designated waste disposal facilities).
