The Faculty of Business Administration and The Asia-Pacific Institute of Business of The Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly offer a Diploma Course in Small and Medium Enterprises which aims at meeting the needs of training and development of qualified managers and owner-managers for these enterprises.
This diploma course is designed to suit the demand for middle and top-level management, owner-managers, and potential business owners of smaller firms. It aims to train and develop participants for more effective and efficient management of the firm with the emphasis on both conceptual analysis and practical skills of management. Major objectives are to provide participants with:
(1) fundamental knowledge and perspectives of the nature of the firm;
(2) management of functional areas of the business undertaking;
(3) strategies and techniques for sound management decision; and
(4) management analytical skills for better leadership and business start-up.
