Textiles Trader Registration Scheme Organization: Trade and Industry Department Click here to see the enquiry contact list of the organisation Details: Traders with valid registration under the Textiles Trader Registration Scheme can be exempted from the licensing requirements in respect of textiles which fall within the scope of the Scheme. Instead they can complete relevant textiles notifications prior to the importation/ exportation and submit them via carriers to the Trade and Industry Department. Features: Registered textiles traders can submit via carriers properly completed textiles notifications in lieu of import/export licences to the Trade and Industry Department in respect of certain textiles which fall within the scope of the Scheme. This can save their time required for coming to the Department to apply for licences and that for the approval of the licence applications.
